A group of undecided voters on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” unanimously expressed preference for former President Donald Trump’s economic strategies, citing concerns over housing affordability and inflation under President Joe Biden’s administration.
According to a recent survey by real estate company Redfin, approximately one in five homeowners and renters admitted to skipping meals to meet housing expenses in Biden’s economy. The voters, hailing from key states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, attributed their leanings towards Trump to issues related to housing affordability and inflation.

The sentiment was unanimous among all eight participants when asked if they believed Trump’s economic policies would be more beneficial for their families.
Concerns over inflation were underscored by the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, revealing a 3.5% annual increase in the consumer price index (CPI) in March and a 0.4% month-over-month rise.
Participants highlighted the stagnant economic activity in Pennsylvania, with high interest rates hindering investment and growth. Similarly, in Michigan, prospective homebuyers like Tenisha expressed struggles in entering the housing market.
Criticism towards President Biden’s handling of the situation was vocalized, with voters like Gigi from Pennsylvania accusing him of denial and lack of accountability. Former Biden supporter Omar from Michigan accused the president of “gaslighting” the American populace.
