Los Angeles, California – Netflix, the renowned streaming giant, is expanding its reach beyond screens by venturing into the world of culinary delights. According to CNN’s report on Thursday, the company is set to open a pop-up restaurant called “Netflix Bites” in Los Angeles on June 30.
Netflix Bites aims to offer an immersive dining experience featuring creations from talented chefs who have appeared on popular Netflix shows such as Chef’s Table, Iron Chef, Is It Cake?, and Drink Masters. Esteemed chefs like Dominique Crenn, Curtis Stone, Ming Tsai, and Nadiya Hussain will be among the culinary experts participating in this unique endeavor.
In a statement, Curtis Stone expressed his excitement, stating, “Bringing my love of food to people across the world is one of the biggest thrills of my life, but this screen-to-table experience of giving fans a taste of what happens on camera is just awesome.”
The pop-up restaurant will be located in the Short Stories Hotel in West Hollywood. Netflix Bites will be open daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and will also serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing guests to savor delectable dishes inspired by the streaming platform’s renowned shows.
To secure a reservation at Netflix Bites, diners will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of $25 per person, which will be deducted from their final bill. However, it’s worth noting that the restaurant’s website clarifies, “As yummy as that’d be, Netflix Bites is strictly an opportunity to taste these chefs’ unique dishes!”
With its innovative concept of bringing screen-inspired cuisine to the dining table, Netflix Bites promises to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for food enthusiasts and fans of the streaming platform alike.
