James Biden Signals Cooperation with House Oversight Committee’s Probe into Family Business Dealings

Republican Representative James Comer of Kentucky revealed on Friday that attorneys representing James Biden, the brother of President Joe Biden, have indicated their client’s willingness to cooperate with an investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings. Comer made this announcement during an appearance on “Just The News, No Noise” on Real America’s Voice.

“We have heard from James Biden’s attorney, and they have signaled that he will come and answer questions in front of the House Oversight Committee, and we’re very appreciative of that,” stated Comer during the interview. He further highlighted the crucial role James Biden is expected to play as a witness in the investigation, connecting various elements of the Biden family’s financial activities.

Comer, who issued subpoenas to the Biden family and associated individuals on November 8, emphasized the importance of obtaining answers from James Biden. The House Oversight Committee estimated that the Biden family and their associates received a minimum of $24 million between 2014 and 2019, as disclosed in a memo released in September. Bank records released in August by the committee revealed substantial payments to Hunter Biden, including millions of dollars from Russian oligarch Elena Baturina.

The subpoenas issued by Comer sought interviews with Hunter Biden, James Biden, Sara Biden, and business associates Rob Walker and Tony Bobulinski, among others. Republican Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina, appearing on Fox Business in August, asserted that the payments to the Biden family could exceed $50 million.

As of the time of reporting, neither the White House nor Comer has provided an immediate response to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
