Harris Faulkner Fact-Checks Claims About Biden’s Poll Numbers

During Wednesday’s episode of “The Faulkner Focus” on Fox News, host Harris Faulkner sought to fact-check claims made by liberal contributor Marie Harf regarding President Joe Biden’s poll numbers.

Harf asserted that President Biden’s poll numbers were performing better than those of all his Republican challengers, including former President Donald Trump. Faulkner, in response, asked her team to verify this claim and provide relevant data.

“I think we need to put the facts on the screen,” Faulkner stated, emphasizing the importance of relying on accurate polling data.

Recent polling data has shown varying results. A Wall Street Journal poll indicated a virtual tie between Biden and Trump, with Trump having a slight edge within the margin of error. An Emerson College poll from January showed Trump leading Biden by three percentage points. Additionally, a CNN/SSRS poll found that 46% of respondents believed any Republican nominee would be a better choice than Biden for the 2024 presidential election.

This exchange highlights the ongoing discussion and debate over polling data and the potential candidates for the 2024 presidential race.
